The message tab should only appear when you have an unread message. And there should be a arrow to collapse the message menu instead of needing to click this button
remove clutter from the list of tabs in the sidebar.
just look at that. why. why is there so much!

move profile button to just when you click your name at the top, put switch in the place where the arrows are now
move settings into more

Well then let’s say you’re on the feed, and you don’t have any messages and you want to chat. Then how will you get to your chat?

I get what Jensen is saying, if there’s no button to get to the chat, it would be harder to find. You can’t have the chat search bar without the message button. And It would be kind of off having to go to your profile

I think we are trying to get everyone to go through the profile for everything! Being able to find everything you need on one page would be ideal. what if the profile has the “create new message” button?
