Building on top of the “sub-chats” I discussed, what if we made it so that you could make groups - with their own feed, their own chats, and a banner, image and description. You’d access the group feed by clicking on different buttons along the top of the feed, along with the Recent, Trending and Challenges buttons. You’d access the chats via a seperate tab in the Messages tab. I feel like we need a better Groups system.

we currently have a lot of things that we want to add and thats only increasing and increasing through the feedback meeting events, and not that many engineers on working on these. SOLUTION: Let coder kids help us code recess! Maybe make engineers review the code before you like level up to become a super-coder Obligatory Four Questions: I tried to have more features, and help code them! (and have other kids that want to do that do that) I expected to be able to help code the site (if trusted) and other kids could do that too. Only the engineers get to do that, and i cant help, and theres not too many new things! Let trusted programming-y/coder kids help code the site!

I tried to make my own chat I wanted anyone to be able to join But instead I could only invite friends. A seperate section in the join a channel section titled (kid led) when you click on it it opens up a menu of different kid-led channels, you can click join and you’ll see the rules like any other chat. (Kid-led channels have to be approved by a guide/staff member.) requirements for making a channel: thumbnail the thumbnail should represent the channel well and tell users what the channel is for. A name, the name should indicate what the channel is and shouldn’t be nonsensical/mean/inappropriate/whatever. Description: description gives more information on what the channel is about it’s meant to explain what a title or thumbnail can’t explain. The last requirement is that you have to invite a guide to moderate the channel.
