let the programming-y kids help build the recess

we currently have a lot of things that we want to add and thats only increasing and increasing through the feedback meeting events, and not that many engineers on working on these. SOLUTION: Let coder kids help us code recess! Maybe make engineers review the code before you like level up to become a super-coder

Obligatory Four Questions:

  1. I tried to have more features, and help code them! (and have other kids that want to do that do that)

  2. I expected to be able to help code the site (if trusted) and other kids could do that too.

  3. Only the engineers get to do that, and i cant help, and theres not too many new things!

  4. Let trusted programming-y/coder kids help code the site!

    This is a good idea. But I know we won’t be able to kid anyone new set up to work on Recess code until the openschool project is built out. I will add this to for the future. But I think it is a realllyyy good idea

    Sounds interesting. I’m not sure how many suggestions/features there are that could be built without deep insight into the app architecture and without endangering the stability of the whole system. Could you give an example or two? What would you be able to build, or at least prototype?

    This is an amazing suggestion - especially given the amount of bugs in teh site’s code
