Intro To Ostinatos Challenge 2

An ostinato is a little piece of music that repeats again and again. In Challenge 1 you created a rhythmic ostinato. Now you will compose a melodic ostinato.

• Create a 4 or 8-beat melodic ostinato using the colored rectangles ( like this) in Chrome Music Lab’s Song Maker. Tip, if you are new to composing, pick 3 colors that skip a block between them, or change the settings from diatonic to pentatonic to ensure you melody has notes that sound good together.

• Ensure that your melody repeats at least twice.
