I wish ai was used less (For Thumbnails)

Feature Request

This is a bit different than usual requests or stuff staff adds to recess but i hope future updates use less ai, Most of the courses use ai for covers, Even the tinkercad one which is a 3D MODELING CLUB uses ai in its cover. The only ones that dont use ai are the art ones and just a FEW others. For something about creativity ai shouldnt be thought of as a canvas but something used as a low effort uncreative slop. More humans should take accountability on recess. Just my opinion

    Totally agree that human made thumbnails would be better.

    I am working on a challenge that will let Recessians submit thumbnail designs! - challenge should be ONLY for thumbnails that are currently made with AI.

    On a bigger note though. Hiring an artist to create every thumbnail would be expensive and time consuming. Right now we are changing so rapidly that we often need a thumbnail very quickly.. This leads to creating these images with prompting.

    I don’t think that prompting images says anything about “humans taking accountability on Recess” though. I would be interested to hear more about what you meant with that.

      Im not anti-ai or against it, But to basically shorten the feedback.

      I wish people did more stuff themselves as in “making their own thumbnails,” 👍
