Aqquaintances (or smth)

i think it would be cool if there was like a half-friend status where you can still DM them but you dont get their last name (if thats still a thing), dont get notified when they join smth, and all the other friend things. Maybe once you send them 10 messages you would get a popup thats like “You’ve been talking to [Person L.] a lot, do you want to Friend Request them?” and theres always a large button on the right that you can click to request them too.
