The thing is, I find it annoying that I have to switch from ‘for you’ to recent EVERY TIME i check. Make it stay on whatever you last clicked on, or prehaps make it auto-go on recent instead?
they said they wotn make it auto go on recent because they think people will prefer for you over recent once for you becomes… not… uh…. horrendous
but sticking to what you already picked is tremendous and wondrous and wonderful

why keep it on for you if they’re going to fix it later? Why not have it on recent until they fix it??

Fair! The answer is because it is being worked on a bit every day. We need as many people to use it as possible so it continues to improve. If we keep it on “recent” no one will switch to “for you”

no one wants to switch to for you until it gets better and its just annoying for everyone so until it is better, i bet my money nobody is going to use for you or want to use it in the future 🙃

I think it is very likely that people who have been at recess for multiple years will be resistant to change. I also think all of the people who are new to Recess will default to for you.
The for you page is literally being worked on every day and is getting better with each update! Hopefully soon it will be a great fit for everyone. Until then, you can always click the recent tab 😊
